Impacting the community through supporting young girls

The young lady in the picture was hopeless when we discovered her. She lived with a widowed step mum who is out of employment and was struggling to pay her rentals. We intervened, helped the family to secure their short term rentals and committed ourselves to sponsoring the young lady back to school. We enrolled her for a catering course at Kitwe YMCA. 

Just before graduating, as required by her school, she went out to search for a company that could give her a place for attachments. She found one in Chingola but as a miraculous story can be she was offered a job opportunity to be a permanent cook. We are so proud of her!! Today she is now able to help her step mum and siblings. She remains thankful that Chejoy came through for her.
